I just heard back from Dave Ranney, who runs the site The Birding Lists
Digest. He added mdbirding to his site yesterday

I just wanted to mention this since I heard from a few people that prefered
the format of birdingonthe.net. While I'm sure we'll be added there soon,
Dave's site works in much the same way and carries all posts from the last
month. It also has a nifty regional grouping page

folks in NY are also talking about fewer cuckoos this year.
