Hey everyone,

After work today I explored some water areas hoping to find phalaropes or other goodies. I first checked the Spring Rd impoundments where I saw one Common Moorhen. No shore birds were present. I then went to Trappe and checked the Trappe WWTP. Nothing of note here either other than an active phoebe chasing insects in the rain. I ended at the Easton WWTP where I saw two Bank Swallows actively feeding over the main pond with many Barn Swallows.

I have written a new post on my blog on the invasive Rusty Crayfish. Lots of information and photos on this harmful species and the damage it can do to our streams and lakes. My blog can be viewed at www.midatlanticnature.blogspot.com
