I found a nice assortment of field birds after work today (6/13) in northwest Carroll and NE Frederick Counties. Sharrett Road (Carroll) east of the railroad tracks had an adult Red-headed Woodpecker, one Vesper and one Savannah Sparrow.
Sixes Bridge Road just east of Keysville Road (Carroll) provided one Grasshopper Sparrow and 3 male Dickcissels in alfalfa fields on the north side of the road.
Sixes Bridge Road just west of Keysville Road (Carroll) had 2 more Dickcissels near a dairy farm and one Horned Lark nearby.
Sixes Bridge Road in Frederick County had one Dickcissel just east of Grimes Road.
