[Posted for Jim Green, who hasn't created his account here yet. The Henslow's Sparrows on Porter Cemetery are a great find. Glad to hear they're at Bald Knob / Blank Road again as well!]
Hi Everybody:

I apologize for the late post but I spent the better part of the day this past Wednesday in Alleghany County. I headed there primarily to escape
the high temps (which did not work all that well) and spend some time in some of the farming and field areas looking for DICKCISSELS. I did not
have any luck with the dickcissels but had a nice day nevertheless. I
exited off of I-68 and birded my way slowly down Town Creek Road
eventually headed for warrior Mountain WMA. Highlights of my day are
listed below:

OLIVER BETZ RD: 2 blue-headed Vireos both seen and heard, one adult with food apparently for young in its bill

WILSON RD E : 1 Yellow Warbler, 2 Willow Flycatchers

BARTON PARK ROAD: 1 Yellow Warbler, 4 Eastern Meadowlarks

REBECCA ROAD: (This is a deadend road off of Barton Park that leads a short
distance to the Wastewater Facility that is located south of
Cresaptown): 2 Willow Flycatchers, 1 Yellow-breasted Chat, 2 Eastern
Meadowlarks and 1 Savannah Sparrow

I then headed to some areas north of Frostburg.

PORTER CEMETERY RD : 4 Brown Thrashers (including 2 juveniles), 5 Grasshopper
Sparrows, 2 HENSLOWS SPARROWS, 3 Eastern Meadowlarks, 1 Orchard Oriole and 9 BOBOLINKS. The sad thing for the Bobolinks were that some of
them were sitting on top of small mowed tufts of grass in the field that was being mowed while I was there. One of the two mowers came over to
me and I let him know what I was doing from the roadside and explained
the breeding birds in the field to me. He basically said he had a mowing schedule to stick with but he had no problem with me observing from the roads. It was nice to hear the Henslows Sparrows as well and they
seemed safe for now in an unmowed area of hillside grass and weeds just
off of the side of the road.

MILE LANE: 2 Grasshopper sparrows and 2 Eastern Meadowlarks

BALD KNOB LANE: 1 HENSLOWS SPARROW and 1 Eastern Meadowlark

BLANK ROAD: 7 Eastern Meadowlarks and 4 HENSLOWS SPARROWS!

It was a nice morning and afternoon to be out. I guess Ill try again next year for an Alleghany Dickcissel!
