I ran the Harmony BBS route this morning and I stopped by Tanyard before I started. A King Rail sounded off once and Barn Owl called several times around 4:45am.
On the route itself the most interesting birds were a few Vesper Sparrows near Harmony. I've never had them so far west in Caroline, usually I've found them closer to the Delaware line.
Locations:
- the corner of Gilpin Point and Wilkins Branch
- 2 a little south of Pinetown on Rt 16.
- on Statum Rd about a mile north of Pinetown
