I just wanted to thank the folks that took the time to set me straight with Finzel Swamp. Everyone's directions and descriptions were right on. Thank you! :D
I went up there early this morning...got there about 7am. I was hit with a Chestnut-Sided Warbler and Scarlet Tanager right off the bat in the parking area. The Alder Flycatchers were hanging around there as well. I spent almost an hour with the CSW getting great photo ops. I thought I heard the Ruffed Grouse, but it was getting a bit windy so I couldn't be sure. There was a very vocal Yellow-Billed Cuckoo close by as well. I then headed down the main trail with good visuals of Purple Finches and Northern Waterthrushes. The NWs were quite busy feeding their fledgings. I made my way back to the pond where I saw a lone Wood Duck but decided to turn back as the wind was really gusting. I think that had the activity down quite a bit as well.
Since I was close by, I headed down to the Old Legislative Rd. spot. I got great looks of Henslow's Sparrows but they wouldn't give me the time of day for a picture ;). Again, the wind was rough, so the activity was very slow.
Here is a link to my photos from today.......and previous outings.

I hope to try again at the end of the week.
Again, thank you for the wonderful feedback.
