Jay Sheppard phoned this morning around 10:20 a.m. to say he sighted the Broad-winged Hawk again from the same general area (Ourisman Honda/VW access road off Rte 198 in Anne Arundel County west of Laurel, MD).
I also asked him about Ruby-throated Hummingbird activity at his house in Maryland City (Anne Arundel County). He has about 10 feeders and estimates he is using 1 gallon of sugar-water per week. He estimates 2-3 dozen hummers.
