I'm planning on birding Ocean City Inlet on either this Fri. or Sat. One of my targets is Wilson's Storm Petrel. Thinking that east winds would be a better chance, but would rather go Fri., because of crowds. Researching the winds, it looks like SW tomorrow and turning more easterly on Sat. Do the winds, and/or tides, affect the Petrel's coming in closer to shore? Would appreciate any ideas! Thanks!
