I just found the hard way a couple of glitches in the way google groups can work. First, I by accident hit Tab in stead of Enter while composing a reply, then went on and hit Enter, and found I could not type any more into the message. So, I decided to start over.
I hit delete reply, and it did, but it also deleted the original post! I am viewing this on the web, not getting it as an email, so I would not have thought that was possible. I can still see the header for the message on the main list, but when I click on it, I get "This message has been deleted." I'm glad it wasn't a message that had the location of a good birding spot! I assume others can still read the message, and that it's just gone from my view, but still, it's disconcerting.
Thought I'd better share these two Oops! moments to save others from them.
