Hi Everyone,
This morning Paul Pisano and I checked out Glover-Archibald Park in DC - just north of Georgetown U. Hospital. We were prompted by reports of nesting Veery by Dan Rauch of the District's Dept of Environment, and we weren't disappointed! I don't know what the final count was, but it was 3-4 times greater than the Wood Thrushes. So I'd guess about 12 Veery and 3-5 Wood Thrushes. We also had good numbers of Arcadian Flycatchers, Eastern Wood Pee-Wees, Catbirds, and the other regulars.
Good birding!
