Subject: [MDBirding] Questions re McKeldin area of Patapsco SP

Chesapeake Aud. Soc. asked me to help with a monthly bird survey of the McKeldin area of Patapsco State Park. I know how to get there (by Marriottesvile Rd.) but don't know anything about the place. Could some of you who bird that place regularly offer suggestions about where to go for the best birding?

I checked out Google and was shown a path that goes 16 miles from the parking spot to near I70. I'm guessing that the main birding areas covers less ground--or maybe not.
Is there a central path that will be obvious to me when I get there? What are the birding areas?

Any help = appreciated.
