I had not been considering chasing, and since I have tomorrow morning free,
would appreciate details on location(s)/access to the Big Pool Great White
Heron and the WashCo Eurasian Collared Doves.
I gather that for the heron, take exit 12 off I-70 and venture down rt. 56
toward Ft. Frederick. Do I enter Ft. Frederick grounds? And will gate(s)
be open early? I don't know where the campgrounds are that we are to stop
before entering. Any guidance would be appreciated.
The doves I gather are along Reidtown Rd., I think I see the RR tracks
mentioned.
