We found the GWH at 8am perched and preening in a dead tree seen from the road on the beaver pond. Later that morning we watched it feed and swim ? http://flic.kr/p/cqsxLw
It then flew to the far end of the beaver pond so you would have had to walk down the trail to find it. I have a zillion pics of it to process and post....a great day for Odes with pictures posted after the GWH video
