Hi MDBirding:

Paul is correct. There is only one previously accepted record of
Brown Pelican for DC from March 2004 from East Potomac Park. There
was also a Voice of the Naturalist report from Sept 1995 of two birds
on Roosevelt Island, but no details were ever submitted to anyone so
the report is "Unreviewable."

So, reports, photos, etc. are welcome for this bird since it is
"reviewable" by the MD/DC Records Committee.

A nice find!

Good luck.

Phil
