I saw a male Blue Grosbeak perched on a wire alongside Florence Road about a half mile south of Long Corner Road. This was in an area of cornfields. Other field birds seen were two Grasshopper Sparrows and two Horned Larks along Underwood Road just north of Old Frederick Road, and a Killdeer at Gateway Business Park by the SAIC office building.
