I went to Hugg Thomas to check the ponds for Odonates....a fun Eyed-Click Beetle was a treat! http://flic.kr/p/cudRXA
A Kentucky Warbler singing behind pond #2 across from the parking lot was a nice surprise. This is very close to the lot and a very short walk up the gravel road to find. It was a very birdy hour there.
I also stopped by Alpha Ridge park and had a pair of fledgling Great Crested Flycatchers and Kingbirds with young who were duking it out with some Willow Flycatchers...all right off the tot lot.
