Went to Big pool again yesterday for Odonates and had the very tame Great White Heron at the beaver pond There were two Yellow-billed cuckoos singing and a Wood Duck at the pond. We were really excited to find a Harvester butterfly by the river. Odonates were abundant once the sun came out. I get a number of questions through this list about my camera. (point and shoot Nikon P510) I tried a close up video of a Black-shouldered Spinylegs eating a damsel and am surprised how well it turned out. On my flickr site (it's short) if anyone is interested.
