Subject: [MDBirding] Pickering Creek shorebirds 7/22

Hi all. We got home Saturday from vacation in Massachusetts and Maine (lifer Atlantic Puffin and Black Guillemot!) and I needed to get a Maryland birding fix bad. There were hundreds of shore birds feeding in low tide at Pickering Creek, including lots of SB Dowitchers, Stilt Sandpipers and peeps. Thought I also had a Western Sandpiper, but was not 100 percent certain of ID.
Good Birding!
