Headed out to Catoctin this morning and had a Common Raven as we were driving down 70 just over the Howard County line (drat!) in Carroll County. Also one calling at the park up near Wolf Rock.
Birded Meadowbrook in Howard for the afternoon (Odes really) and had 2 Yellow-Billed Cuckoos calling back and forth along the newly created stream. Just when I think I know a little about Odes one throws me for a loop...http://flic.kr/p/cBR927 Might be a Vesper Bluet but waiting for confirmation from the experts. Beautiful regardless
