Folks
Based on a tip by Ann Boding, I stopped by the Mattawoman on Rt. 228 where Rt. 229 meets. I found about 75 Great Egrets, and two Great Blue Heron. The drought is having its effects.
Yesterday I found a Louisiana Waterthrush at Camp Winona while doing the herp atlas in that block (Hughesville SE).
Herps found and photographed were Eastern Box Turtle, Common Five-lined Skink, and Eastern Wormsnake. Lots of Northern Green Frogs got away.
Anyone want to help on the atlas?
Cheers
