Birded Meadowbrook this morning and had an adult Black-Crowned Night heron on the pond that is closest to Rt 29 down in the marshy area. I would not advise going into the marsh to look for it unless you have boots and don�t mind getting cut up by sedges and tearthumb The Warbling vireos are still singing, along with Yellow-billed Cuckoo and a fledged Orchard Orioles and Northern Mockingbirds. Two Ring-billed gulls have arrived at the Long Gate shopping center.
