Hi All,
Tomorrow morning, very early, I'll be on a boating trip leaving out of Sandy Point State Park, crossing the Bay to the Western Shore, and returning by mid-afternoon. The trip is a fishing trip, but I'll be bringing my bins ... I'm familiar with the birds that can be seen from shore, but I've not done any boat-birding at all. I'm wondering if there are any species I should be familiar with before going out, so I don't miss out on good birds that are not shore-huggers.
Any suggestions on what might be flying mid-bay?
