I had an errand in Hagerstown on Monday which is on my route home these days. I wanted to check shorebirds up at the Hagerstown Airport pond. There wasn't much of anything there except a Killdeer. I also checked on the Eurasian Collared Dove(s ?) on Reidtown Road (previously reported). I still only found one individual. This time it was west of Marsh Pike on Reidtown Road at the barn and farm buildings (up on the wire). I checked across the road on Lehman's Mill road and vicinity but I didn't find any other (non-Mourning) doves. The ponds near the Hagerstown Mall (Rt 40) were also devoid of shorebirds. I just had a Great Blue and a Green Heron there with some Canada Geese.
