Went to Taylor�s Landing on Sunday for Odes...an Adult Bald Eagle on the river hunting (not odes) was a treat. Yellow-Billed Cuckoos calling as proved everywhere. Caught my first Swift River Cruiser.... http://flic.kr/p/cGwCF1 ( with my 15 inch �girl net�)
Then Fox Chase in West Friendship that evening...a hoped for full explosion of Citrine Forktails (less than an inch damsels) http://flic.kr/p/cGHJDC Yellow-billed Cuckoo again....no shorebird habitat though Had some fledgling Green Herons in the pond and another Cuckoo calling.
Noting that the Orchard Orioles have moved on......noteworthy were the lack of birds of the early migrant species....fall is coming
