<http://sn123w.snt123.mail.live.com/mail/#> Someone else mentioned the dearth of Yellow Crowns at the park and I had noticed the same but not this morning. I saw at least three adults and two juveniles. There were also several Green Herons. I thought for a while that I saw American Bitterns but when I got home and compared my photos to Audubon's field guide I came to think they were juvenile Green Herons. There were also several Great Blues.
I did see a bird that I cannot identify and am attaching photos. It was perched about 50 feet high and was in the midst of an antiphonal parlay with another one that I could not find visually. Can anyone help me ID this?
