I have to say, I'm not a Facebook fan either. I wouldn't be happy, but if it came down to it, I would join if that were the only option. Fortunately, there are other options, and I agree with Bill that our Google groups is still young, and everyone needs time getting used to it. I certainly miss MD Osprey, but after the pure panic I felt when it was over (I'll never forget that day!), I was delighted when another forum opened up. It was easy for me, since I already had a Google account; I was using one for my birding and another (my gmail account) for professional purposes. (It seemed silly using "crazy4widbirds" for that purpose!) Hopefully, one day I'll merge everything together. And thanks again to Jared and everyone else who were responsible for this list. I will be eternally grateful!
