I thoroughly agree with Bill. Facebook would probably address a slightly different set of people who are interested in Maryland Birds. Should we not be all inclusive. We should broaden our group beyond the old school. Many of these people will be the next generation. Many might find us on facebook and switch to the listerve.
I know on the Iowa Ornithologists Union Face book page, we have people comment whose names I have never seen on the Iowa Birds Listerve.
