Subject: [MDBirding] Woodbine yard migrants today

Morning all,
A few nice birds passing through this morning, including a nice group of Baltimore Orioles, with two adult males still singing (in flight too!), as well as some young of the year birds. They stayed around for a while, doing their stutter-call and songs. Also associating with them was a Scarlet Tanager, which perched briefly in a newly planted crab apple tree (only about 4 feet high) in the back yard, as well as an Eastern Kingbird, Eastern Phoebe, empid sp. flycatcher, a flyover Purple Martin, Barn Swallows, Red-shouldered Hawks, and increasing numbers of hummingbirds. Lots of bluebird in various stages of development too, with many young birds around the yard.
