Afternoon all,
There must've been a big flight of Chestnut-sided Warblers last night, as I also saw one here this morning hanging out in the trees on the front side yard. Also a Blue Gray Gnatcatcher, Scarlet Tanager, both House and Carolina Wrens, lots of bluebirds, especially young ones, all over the neighborhood (I like to think I am a big part of this!). Still hearing both phoebe and pewees around too, and a few N. Flickers, lots of chippies (with young), Chimney Swifts moving by, Red-shouldered and Coopers Hawks (the Coop flew across and landed in a backyard tree until I walked along and scared it off). Slow, but picking up...
