Subject: [MDBirding] Swan Creek this morning

Had a fairly productive 2 hours at Swan Creek this morning. Unfortunately we couldn't stay longer as there seemed to be a good bit of activity. Shorebirds were plentiful in the cells, but they were rather distant to get good I.D.s. The marshy area was also fairly active.

Some of what we were able to see:

Canada Geese
Mallard
N. Shoveler
Ruddy Duck
GB Heron
LB Heron
Snowy Egret
G. Yellowlegs
Pectoral S.P.
Semi-palmated S.P.
Least S.P.
Dunlin
Semi-palmated Plover
Osprey
Hairy Woodpecker
Red-shouldered Hawk
Y.B. Cuckoo
R.T. Hummingbird
Blue Grosbeak (many - mostly juveniles)
Yellow Warbler
Olive-sided Flycatcher (hawking flies)
Goldfinch

I'm sure we missed a few other shorebirds and possibly a warbler or two!
