Subject: [MDBirding] Swan Creek today

Spent a very nice 2 hours at Swan Creek this morning. Lots of shorebirds, but many were too far out to make positive ID's. Both cells had activity as well as the marshy/wooded area. The following are some of the birds we were able to see:

Canada Geese
Mallard
Osprey
Red-shouldered Hawk
LB Heron
GB Heron
Snowy Egret
Ruddy Duck
N. Shoveler
Greater Yellowlegs
Dunlin
Semi-palmated SP
Least SP
Pectoral SP
Killdeer
Semi-palmated Plover
YB Cuckoo
Blue Grosbeak (many - mostly juveniles)
Olive-sided Flycatcher
Yellow Warbler
Goldfinch

I'm sure we missed some shorebirds and possibly a warbler or two as well!
