Hi All,

It should be interesting to hear what people come up with because Paul of Paulagic birding was talking like this was his best summer trip ever for MD. I had a couple of big misses due to my own chumming operation (read sea sickness), but still got a bunch of stuff along with the 2 Buff-breasted Sands Paul and I picked up at Central Sod Farm on John Brown Rd., Queen Anne's Co. Only sad part of the trip was watching a Ruddy Turnstone circle the boat for nearly a half hour looking for a place to rest while we were still 70 miles out to sea. I never figured out if he jumped aboard, or just loss hope and flew away to his fate.

Either way it was a great trip.

Folks,

After this past weekend's EPIC haul out in the Atlantic, some have commented that yesterday's trip was perhaps one I the BEST EVER. Surely when the Russian fishing fleet worked our shores, there were some rival trips.

Please email me any stories, trip lists, STATE-RECORD BIRDS, funny stories, etc from any past trips that you were lucky enough to attend... and I'll see about working it into this week's edition. ;)

Thanks, in advance, for your help!

Best,
Dan
