Subject: [MDBirding] Wheaton Regional Park, 8/27/12, good birds


Birded this area for the first time, 9-11:30, active entire time but especially for the first half. Very nice spot--lots of fun. Thanks to Gail (?) for pointing me toward a Cerulean Warbler and to a birder named Fred who also pointed to the Cerulean spot and who also explained where to walk. Best birds other than Cerulean: Olive-Sided Flycatcher, Yellow-Bellied Flycatcher, and the 10 (or 11) warbler species. Some of this morning's birds below:
