This morning at Governor Bridge, I found a Brewster's Warbler feeding in a tree near the big chain link fence that borders the road. The bird lacked the Golden-winged Warbler facial pattern and showed a bold black eye line, bright yellow cap, and a bright yellow wing patch (slightly broken) set on bluish-gray wings. Judging by the yellow on the sides of the chest, I suspect the bird was a male. This is the second Brewster's I've seen in the county, which also constitutes all the migrants I've seen. It also matches the number of apparently pure Golden-winged Warblers I've seen in the county.
Overall, a pretty birdy morning.
