Hi all,

Another active morning at WRP, fair number of birders out as well and we were all kept active until about 9:45, when everything shut down as it got hot. No "biggies" today, just a nice selection and very good numbers of some species. An obvious decline in flycatchers (just three Empids, one a nice Yellow-bellied, perhaps same molting individual as yesterday) and an big influx of Magnolia Warblers were the most obvious changes. Barry and I saw 10 species of warbler, and other birders added two others (Baybreasted, Nashville). Several of the birds, including a couple of Black and Whites, were singing. We saw our first migrant Indigo Buntings of the season (the breeding residents are long gone).
