RED BREASTED NUTHATCHES were everywhere! I heard one here last week, but definitely lots more moved through. Highlights were a NASHVILLE WARBLER in the first field area, and a CANADA WARBLER in the woods not far from the paking lot. Ended up with a total of 8 warblers. Another highlight was a MERLIN at the hawk watch, that swooped so low, I could see it's facial pattern, and a KESTREL perched on a dead snag at the point, devouring some prey (I could only hope it was one of the starlings that flew above his head, but I doubt it!). Afterwards, I tried for the Yellow bellied flycatcher at Fairhill Nature Center. No luck. Also no luck with the Phila. Vireo, seen by Mark Johnson. Heard lots of WARBLING VIREOS, RED EYED VIREOS and the usual stuff there. I'll post my findings on E-bird. Lin Just Colora, Md
