A sharp-shinned hawk lit on a branch in my backyard this evening while we were entertainng guests for dinner. It did not stay long enough for may wife to get her camera, so no pictures.
Every year, a Sharp-shinned visits my yard in the fall, so I assume it is the same one. This time, it seems a little earlier than usual. Is the migration starting already?
