A stop at Swan Creek in Anne Arundel Co. this morning yielded few shorebirds. Three Killdeer were in the north cell with a partially hidden flock of Caspian Terns and four Ruddy Ducks. In the south cell were two Semipalmated Plovers, a Sanderling, and a likely candidate for a Baird's Sandpiper. I hope someone can stop by there and confirm the latter.
