Jeff Culler found a Philadelphia Vireo at Mount Pleasant - Howard Conservancy, today.
Site Guide: http://howardbirds.org/birdinghowardcounty/MtPleasant/mount_pleasant_overview.htm
Location at the site: Walk past the main building, past the green & yellow paper recycle bin, past Ranger the Barred Owl, and take the path to the left. Continue walking west along the stream for about 1/4 mile. When you get to the high ground the path takes a 90 degree left turn. There is a large oak tree with a bench under it. This is the tree that the Philadelphia Vireo was favoring.
There was a nice comparison with a juvenile Warbling Vireo in the same area. The Warbling Vireo only had yellow on the flanks, less white above the eye, and a paler stripe through the eye. The PHVI was also cuter.
