Subject: [MDBirding] Warblers at Violette's Lock

A flock of warblers were having breakfast this morning between 7 and 8
am in the parking lot at Violette's. The most surprising- a
YELLOW-THROATED WARBLER. On the scene: a number of Black-and-whites, a
Chestnut-sided, a Blue-winged, Magnolia, Blackburnian and Bay-breasted
(still showing some bay on the flanks.) The action was continuous and
I'm sure I missed a few.
Several of us were at this same spot yesterday but the light was so
horrible we were grateful to be able to ID American Redstart, Blackpoll,
Common Yellowthroat, Northern Parula, Magnolia, Black-and-white and
Chestnut-sided.
