This morning about 11:30 a.m., Jon Ranson and I went back to the Sod Farm on Swamp Circle Road - and found at least three, likely four buff breasted sandpipers! The birds are active and often disappear behind the uneven ground - which is probably why I could not find them on two trips to the farm yesterday.

Thanks, Dan for the tip on these life birds for me, and great county birds!

There are not one, not two, at least THREE (and maybe more)
BUFF-BREASTED SANDPIPERS on the Northern-most sod field (now mud) on Swamp
Circle Road, near Deale MD.
