Hi all,
It was exciting to get the 'S' gull, so I keep on forging ahead by trying my luck at Blue Mash. As I
got into parking lot, a Yellow-billed Cuckoo swooped down from the trees, and landed nearby. I went along the path from the parking area to the 'small pond'. Along the way, Magnolia Warblers, Canada, Red-eyed Vireos, Gray Catbirds, Great Crested Flycatchers flitted about.
The highlight here was about a dozen (+-) Bobolinks flyovers, when I was in NE corner. A Scarlet Tanager gleaned caterpillars high in a large Oak, nearby a Philadelphia Vireo.
Upon leaving a Great Egret, Great Blue Heron, Pied-billed Grebe, Lesser Yellowlegs were present in small pond.
