"At 1:40pm, I spotted a large bird gliding and making slow, deep wingbeats. The long neck and long trailing legs were notable, and smaller raptors soared by this larger bird for size comparison.
As "the bird" came into better view, we were finally able to get looks at it through a spotting scope to confirm my hunch: it was indeed a Sandhill Crane. Headed to the Southeast, we watched the crane for a few minutes before it disappeared."
