Subject: [MDBirding] Cromwell Valley redux 9/12/12

Late post on 0820 walk, ending1230.
NO sign of Conn. Warbler, nor Golden-
Winged. A careful survey yielded several MD Yellowthroat, Chestnut-sided (3), Magnolia Warbler, BT Green Warbler and Palm Warbler (w race). Both Vultures seen and 2 RT Hawks noted, with some higher, small buteos, probably Broad-
Winged. A small, dedicated group of hawk
watchers at the observation point should give the definitive run-down. Among other sightings, I saw 2 House Wren and was a bit startled to hear a Towhee.
