Hi Everyone,
On a class field trip to Riley Roberts Rd in the Deal Island WMA (Somerset
Co) this morning (12 Sep 2012), we had some nice birds, including:
Pied-billed Grebe--6
Caspian Tern--3
Northern Waterthrush--1
Black-and-white Warbler--1
American Redstart--2
Northern Parula--1
We also ran into Mike Walsh, who saw some more good birds after we left: a
Blue-winged Warbler, Magnolia Warblers, and a Baltimore Oriole.
The highlight for the class and me though was a beautiful adult male
Eastern Kingsnake. I put a photo into the checklist at the link below:
