Subject: [MDBirding] Howard County shorebirds


There is a juvenile Sanderling and a Baird's Sandpiper at Fulton Pond. They
are in the southwest corner of the pond. You can park on the right side of
Rt 216 after you pass Reservoir High School. View from the end of the
public sidewalk. Do NOT enter the fields.

Also present are Killdeer, Solitary Sandpiper, Lesser & Greater Yellowlegs,
Least & Semipalmated Sandpipers.


*FULTON POND* - ADCmap pg. 5052-C6 (previous edition pg. 18-H5), Delorme
map pg. 57-D5. Location: 1.1 miles west of US 29 on MD 216. To observe the
pond and fields, do NOT stop in the farm driveway.
