That was I who arrived at the dam just as you were leaving.

I was at the boat ramp from about 12:45 until nearly 2:00 and then went to the dam where I had seen four birders, who had not been looking at anything in particular. No sign of the Sabine's Gull when I left at about 2:30.

I did meet a birder from Purcellville, VA who was in the Greenbridge Road parking lot when I arrived. He had not seen the Sabine's either.

Did see:

Herring/Ring-billed Gull
Forster's Tern
Caspian Tern
Great Blue Heron
Double-crested Cormorant
Yellow-rumped Warbler
Tree Swallow
