Maryland Birders - The note below is from a recent phone message from Harry Armistead:
This morning, Sep 15th, between 7:15 and 8:30 a.m., Harry and George observed a dark phase immature Swainson's Hawk while birding on Hooper's Island. They managed to attain four sightings, and photos were obtained.
The bird was seen along Neekis Neck Road near Swan Harbor Road, Hooper's Island.
(Neekis Neck Road may be pretty small, for it is not listed on my Dorchester County ADC Map.)
