The American Golden Plover and Baird's Sandpiper persisted at Greenbridge/Triadelphia Reservoir MontCo as of about 1:00 p.m. today. Two Caspian Terns, one presumably juvenile, and showing enough white on the crown to suggest Royal were also present.
Baird's and Sanderling also persist at Fulton Pond, rt. 216 in Howard. As well as Lesser Yellowlegs, Solitary, and Least Sandpipers.
Those attempting to visit Fulton are reminded to stay on the public sidewalk in front of the school, and to stay off the farm grounds. The owners are hostile to birders and birds, so let's not antagonize them.
With the winds abating, viewing should be good early in the morning, before heat shimmer sets in.
