Lots of lbj at Swan Harbor now. About all I can ID are two Western Palm Warblers acting like sparrows along the road to the RC airplane area. No shorebirds except one Killdeer.

Subject: [MDBirding] Purple Finches, Sora, Hughes Hollow, Mont. Co. 9/16

We arrived mid to late morning at Hughes Hollow today, and things were fairly quiet. Met Paul Woodward and Susan Hunt. While birding with Susan, we saw a flock of Purple Finches between the two impoundments on the levee that heads west (they flew off to the east). This was right after we heard the Sora reported by Jared Fisher yesterday. Then saw and heard a Northern Waterthrush. No luck on the Marsh Wren or Olive-sided Flycathcher.
